Are Stress, Anxiety, or Past Hurts Holding You Back?

If you’re here, you may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to handle the challenges in your life. Maybe anxiety, stress, or past traumas are weighing you down, making it hard to focus on what truly matters. Heal Past Wounds: Creating a Life Beyond Trauma

If past experiences are still casting a shadow over your life, know that you’re not alone. Trauma can feel like an invisible weight, showing up in unexpected ways—maybe in the form of anxiety, trust issues, or even physical tension. It can leave you feeling disconnected, isolated, or stuck in a cycle of emotions that seem out of your control. Overcoming trauma is not easy, but with the right support, you can find relief, build resilience, and start to feel whole again.

In our work together, we’ll create a safe and compassionate space where you can explore and process these experiences at your own pace. I’ll help you understand how trauma may be impacting your daily life, and we’ll work on practical techniques to manage triggers, build healthy coping skills, and reconnect with your sense of self. Healing from trauma isn’t about “getting over it”—it’s about reclaiming your life, finding peace, and learning to feel secure in yourself and your surroundings.

You deserve to move forward without the weight of past pain. Let’s start this journey together, and help you reclaim the strength and calm that is already within you.

An Accountability Partner You Can Count On

“I’m here to walk beside you, holding you accountable with both compassion and honesty, so every step we take brings you closer to the life you deserve.”

My approach centers on accountability. I see myself as more than just a therapist—I am your accountability partner. Many of us lack someone in our lives who will gently but firmly push us to reach our goals, and I take on that role with kindness and honesty. I’m here to keep you actively engaged in your therapeutic journey, making sure that each step brings you closer to your goals and towards a life of healing and balance.

Hi! I'm Alyce Keys

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a mission to make you feel better than you did when you walked in. I am currently available to assist adults with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties. My desire is to help adults who have experienced trauma to heal, work through life challenges, and grow while achieving their life goals. As a therapist, I work with you to navigate life transitions with the intention of self-growth and awareness while empowering you to be who you truly are.

My training has focused on the psychodynamic approach which explores how childhood experiences effect and shape adult personalities. For the past 6 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in the mental health field providing coping skills to those who experienced anxiety, depression and other concerns.

I hope to assist you in finding your peace.

Black female therapist providing warm experience while offering trauma-informed therapy in Atlanta

I know what it means to be too harsh on yourself. What it means to lack confidence in your skills and have doubt in your abilities. Perhaps you have some fears of what success would look like once obtained. What if I told you that these are often stories that we tell ourselves? What if I told you that you have the power to change that story?

Instead of second guessing yourself, you’ll learn to use non-judgmental self-reflection and self-exploration to promote awareness of what strategies will best move you through challenges. As a result, you’ll learn to maintain your standards while also leaving room for mistakes.

You don’t have to face this alone—connect with me today, and let’s start creating the balance and peace you deserve.
